And just like that…it’s Summer

A trip to the beach 🏖️ in the Florida panhandle had us enjoying Santa Rosa Beaches on 30A for a full week of sun, fun and food with the family. It was my first time exploring this part of Florida and I was totally enthralled by the beauty of this area and the excellent food choices and amenities available. Definitely recommend it.

The sea views were spectacular
Havana Beach Restaurant, loved the look of this building
A Vincent Scully mural by Gaia, in the town of Seaside, 30A
We had an amazing meal at this Thai restaurant
Entryway to Seaside Beach
The Gulf of Mexico beaches are the best, crystal clear ocean and sandy beaches

Life at the beach

I have been away enjoying time with our family and exploring the gulf coast of Florida, we spent an unforgettable week in Santa Rosa beach and surrounding towns.

Beautiful building in the town square
Seaside and Santa Rosa beaches did not disappoint!

A view of Panama City

These photographs were taken during a family trip to Panama 🇵🇦 a few years ago, the memories we shared are priceless. Our grandchildren visited for the first time, and now we are all ready to go back.

There is so much to do and so much to eat in Panama, if you are a “foodie”, it will be right up your next meal’s alley. The variety of food is amazing, the fruits are delicious and the fish 🐠 is the best and freshest you’ll find.

So go ahead, “Enamórate de Panamá” (Fall in Love with Panama)

Serenity

Being surrounded by calm water sources be it ponds, rivers or seas have always provided me with a sense of peace and tranquility; it allows my thoughts to flow freely and makes me feel grounded.

Nothing moving here
Water lilies? No, But close enough for me 😊
Peace and quiet
Mother Nature ☺️

Every time I get the opportunity to be outside (weather permitting) I just think about all the parks that surround me pick one and head out to explore. Life is good 😊

My favorite animal

I am by far a dog person, there’s always been one in most phases of my life; beginning when I was a young child when there were times we had two or more dogs competing with me and my four siblings, to my parents exasperation 🤣.

These days, after retirement I content myself by being available when needed to babysit my grandchildren (no longer babies) and our furry grand baby a Shih Tzu named Suede.

Our fur baby « Suede »
Playful and feisty, he thinks he is a guard dog, Whoof!

Pets are part of the family they are loved 🥰 and cherished and they can sense how you feel about them; you cannot fool them. We love our little “Suede”, whoof!
