More photos from Fishermen’s Village, FL

Northerner in Florida, riding his motorcycle. It is 80 degrees outside today.

My day trip through Fishermen’s Village continues, I had a willing Northerner (New Hampshire) volunteer for this picture, I think it was because he noticed me trying to take his picture–on the sly. LOL

A replica of the Nina and the Pinta were on display
Fishermen's Village stage and outdoor seating
Everything looks so good in there!
That's all from Fishermen's Village... Have a Happy New Year!

Good thing he was gracious and willing; we spent a few minutes congratulating ourselves for choosing to live in Southwest Florida.

  1. I just love seeing other parts of the world through WordPress. Excellent photos. And GLORIOUS sunshine.

Happy New Year 🙂 (I’m from Australia, it’s summer here too at the moment but, brrrrr winter gets cold)

    1. Thanks for stopping by. I was just browsing around on your blog, your writing is very good. I will stop by from time to time as I want to read more and see when your book gets published.
Funny, I just wrote a new post and mentioned Australia, I was under the (wrong) impression it is Winter up there and not Summer. I’ll have to fix that, LOL.
One of the things I love about WordPress is meeting people from around the world, so in that breath–so pleased to have met you. Happy New Year!

  2. would love to be where you are right now…a little bit chilly and rainy here in seattle right now…

    what i would give for a little sunshine…and heat… 🙂

    1. We have plenty of sunshine to give away so come on down, no rain in sight for days. It is expected to be getting a little chilly in the next few days, but nothing that requires coat and gloves. A light sweater will do.

  3. Not big on crowds so sounds like you are in a good area with quite a bit to do. Really enjoy reading your posts. Thanks for your post on my blog and replied to you there. Have a Happy New Year!

    1. We are on the Gulf of Mexico side (west coast); great weather most of the year. Not as crowded as the east (Miami) and centrally located with easy access to most big cities–Orlando, Tampa, Miami, I can’t complain!

  4. The Nina and the Pinta! How cool! We just watched History Channel’s The Untold story of the Mayflower, and it was quite an adventure riding in such a boat on the high seas. I can’t imagine. No one bathed. People were seasick. And they didn’t have fresh water. They drank mainly beer. Even the children. If you’re interested in naval stories at all, this one was really interesting. It gave the women and Native American perspectives too, which we don’t usually get to hear. You can find it on Netflix.
Hope you’re enjoying those 80 degree holidays! 🙂

    1. Thanks, Jennifer, I’ll keep an eye out for it to see when they’ll broadcast it again.
The weather down here is fantastic this week, 60s in the mornings and then it warms up to the 80s during the day. Priceless!
