The beauty of Louisiana State Cabildo in New Orleans, this architecture is on display throughout NOLA’s streets.
I took this shot from across the street at Jackson Square, of The Louisiana State Museum Cabildo during our recent visit to New Orleans. It was a beautiful night and we were out looking for a place to eat but could not resist stopping to take in the sight and snap a couple of pictures.
I must go back to this beautiful city ASAP!

New Orleans is such a gorgeous city. After Katrina when critics suggested not rebuilding it, I was horrified!

Great photo, Marcia. I’m sorry to say I have never been to New Orleans.
I’m trying to get back to blogging after a bit of a break. Sara and I have moved to Ecuador, and that transition kept me too busy for a while. Feels good to be back.
